A resident of the Palermo neighbourhood, Kaniz Mouli proudly calls Oakville North-Burlington home. She lives in the community with her husband Daniel where they are raising their young son Zain who was born in 2020 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
Kaniz is a successful management professional who works on Bay Street in the financial services sector responsible for strategy and large transformation initiatives. Prior to that, Kaniz worked as a Senior Management Consultant with clients in both the public and private sector. She also has government experience and has served as an advisor for Cabinet Ministers at Queen’s Park.
A long-time Liberal activist, Kaniz has a track record of fighting for progressive change in our province. She has championed diversity and inclusion issues and has been an advocate for women in politics. A daughter of immigrants and proud Canadian, Kaniz is committed to working towards creating a better future where all Canadians who work hard have a chance to succeed.
A resident of Oakville North-Burlington, Kaniz understands the issues and challenges facing our community. As a regular commuter she knows how important affordable, quality, and fast transit is to getting to work and home to our families. Oakville North-Burlington is a community that is fortunate to have good schools, quality greenspace, and safe neighbourhoods; however, without an effective champion for our community we stand the risk of losing what is important to us. Kaniz will tirelessly fight to ensure that our community remains among the best places to live in Ontario and that the issues that matter to you are raised at Queen’s Park.
Kaniz holds an MBA from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Commerce. She has also been recognized as a Top 40 under 40 by a Board of Trade.
